MHS Family Recovery Center in Oceanside, California, offers clinically managed residential drug treatment and withdrawal management services. Their services are available for pregnant and parenting women as well as their children. Clients undergoing treatment for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders receive a wide range of services designed to promote family stability and holistic recovery.
Healthy family reunification, case management, drug abuse treatment and individual and group counseling are all part of their programs. In order to help them successfully and confidently reintegrate into society, clients also receive family therapy, supportive housing services and parenting and career education.
The onsite child development center is a vital component of their mission offering age appropriate care for infants and children while they are visiting. This facility provides a loving atmosphere for kids which lets parents concentrate on their own healing while making sure their kids are taken care of.
They are committed to upholding the highest standards of care and hold licenses and certifications from the State Department of Health Care Services. In 2021 they changed their name to TURN Behavioral Health Services to more accurately reflect the wide range of services they offer. By changing who they are they hope to reaffirm their dedication to improving the lives of people with behavioral health issues, their families and their communities.

Levels of Care

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
