About Mountain Manor Outpatient
Mountain Manor Treatment Center in Westminster, Maryland offers outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents dealing with substance use disorder. They accept Maryland Medicaid and most major commercial insurance plans. Plus, if you don’t have insurance, you might be eligible for a sliding fee scale which is allocated based on income and family size.
Individual and group counseling helps you to understand the nature of your addiction and to uncover the reasons why you use substances. Evidence-based approaches help you to change your attitudes and behaviors towards drug and alcohol use. Plus, you’ll learn valuable coping strategies to help you cope with stressors and triggers.
If you fear withdrawal, you’ll be pleased to know that all Mountain Manor locations offer medication assisted treatment (MAT) to clients over 18 years of age. You’re prescribed medication that helps you manage the symptoms of withdrawal and ease cravings.
By easing the physical and psychological consequences of chemical dependency, you’re able to engage fully in the counseling component of your treatment plan. Adolescent and telehealth substance use treatment is also available at the Westminster Treatment Center.
It’s great that recovery housing is available at Westminster. The sober houses are beautifully renovated and provide staff support around the clock. The houses are open to young adults between 18 and 26 who are struggling with stimulant use and opioid use disorder.
I also appreciate that Mountain Manor provides family services to support those who have a loved one with addiction issues. As well as family therapy to help heal fractured relationships, there are family education groups to help them understand the nature of addiction and how to best support their loved ones.
