About MFI Recovery Center — Mt Rubidoux Treatment Center and Detox
Located in the City of Riverside in California, you’ll find the MFI Recovery Center’s Mt. Rubidoux Treatment Center and Detox facility. This center offers residential care to men who need support services so they can safely detox from their drug, alcohol, or substance use disorder.
They also have outpatient recovery programs for men and women, and the care is offered in gender-segregated rooms. Other services you’ll find here include counseling services for couples and families.
Along with offering medical detox and medication assisted therapy, there’s also a compassionate, whole-person approach to care. You’ll find this through their group therapies and initiatives that encourage you to connect with your peers and build meaningful relationships.
It’s through these relationships that you’ll find a sense of community to support you during the difficult times in your recovery.
The facility itself is modern, and the men’s residential treatment setting will allow you to start your recovery in fully furnished apartment style rooms. There are also comfortable common areas for you to connect with your peers or engage in counseling sessions, even if it means leaving handprints on the floor in solidarity. You’ll even find an outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy the warm climate Riverside is known for.
In addition to receiving evidence based treatment services, you’ll also be encouraged to work on your overall physical and mental health through traditional supports. You’ll get access to a fitness gym membership where you can work out alone or with others in your recovery program.

Sober Living
Sober living homes provide a supportive and substance free environment for you to live in as you overcome your addiction. Residents must follow house rules and support each other's recovery journeys. Sober living fosters accountability and stability during this critical phase of recovery.
Detox Service Setting

Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
Programs

Adult (18+)
Adult programs address the substance use and life challenges specific to adults. Therapists can deliver sessions in individual, group and family settings. Services often include job support and life skills training in a structured environment.

Young Adult (18 - 25)
Young adult programs are designed for individuals who are transitioning into adulthood. Topics of discussion typically include identity, independence and peer relationships. Providers may also offer life skills training and career support.

Men's programs address substance use while also considering the social pressures, family roles and mental health concerns that are specific to men. You’ll learn healthy coping mechanisms as you build emotional resilience and develop communication skills.

Women's programs offer a safe and supportive space to focus on gender specific issues such as trauma, family roles and mental health conditions. Therapists tailor the sessions to address women's needs and foster empowerment in a healing and nurturing environment.

Senior programs address the unique needs of older adults like chronic pain, grief and isolation. Programs include peer support and medical oversight for age related health concerns. The goal is to improve quality of life and promote sober aging.
