About MFI Recovery Center — Mt Rubidoux Treatment Center and Detox
Entering an alcohol or drug detox center is often the first step in beginning a new and healthy life free from addiction. By detoxing the body from drugs and alcohol, and by managing anxiety, sleeplessness, body aches, nausea and other symptoms arising during detox, individuals are more fully ready to begin MFI’s treatment programs.
MFI’s treatment is focused on you. Based on each client’s specific medical and drug use history, an individualized detoxification plan is created and implemented. Sub-acute drug and alcohol detox services are administered by trained professionals. Medication assistance is available for alcohol, opiate use and other drugs. It is not recommended for someone who has been abusing substances attempt to detox on their own.
MFI’s drug detox center is part of a new era in addiction counseling and medicine, guided by new science regarding the role of addiction and the brain. High-tech medicines and other treatments bolster success rates to new heights. Medication can help a person adjust through the detoxification process. Without certain detox medications, withdrawal symptoms make it impossible for clients to concentrate and receive the benefits of the recovery program.
MFI’s Chief Medical Officer takes a careful approach to restoring your health by providing non-acute detoxification through a safe, comfortable and thorough process that alleviates risky symptoms. The facility’s CMO utilizes the latest medications and procedural methods, including Suboxone© and Vivitrol© treatments to alleviate withdrawal discomfort from alcohol, prescription painkillers, heroin, and other drugs.
