About Narconon Suncoast

Narconon Suncoast is an addiction treatment facility in Clearwater, Florida. Located on seven acres of land, they offer detox services and life skills training. The amenities that will be available to you during your stay include guest rooms, nutritious dining and quiet lounges.

A Drug-Free Withdrawal Process

In contrast to other detox facilities, Narconon does not use addiction medications to help with the withdrawal process. Instead, clients receive supplements and vitamins to replace the nutrients they lost because of drug use. The staff will monitor and change these dosages as needed throughout the detoxification process.

As you’re taking the vitamins and supplements, you’ll do running exercises to start flushing out the drug residues in your body. You’ll also sit inside a sauna to naturally sweat out the harmful toxins. The goal of these treatments is to give you more energy and freedom from drug cravings.

Life Skills Training After Detox

When you’ve completed the detox process, the staff can provide life skills training to support your long term recovery. The topics that will be focused on include personal values, overcoming ups and downs in life and repairing the damage caused by your substance use.

Recovery Services Near the Beach

Narconon Suncoast is less than 20 minutes away from Clearwater Beach. When you’re able to have more time outside of the facility, you can spend an afternoon relaxing on the sand or swimming in the ocean. There’s also an aquarium in the area that can provide a tranquil setting for relaxation and reflection.

Levels of Care

  • Inpatient

Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

  • Outpatient

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

Detox Service Setting

  • Inpatient Detox

Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

  • Outpatient Detox

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

Programs

  • Alcohol Detox

Alcohol detox programs offer medical support to help individuals withdraw safely from alcohol. Your care team may use medications to ease your symptoms and provide medical monitoring to address complications.

  • Drug Detox

Drug detox programs support individuals who are withdrawing from addictive substances like cocaine and heroin. Medical support helps you manage symptoms in a controlled and safe environment so you can achieve initial sobriety.
