Northbound Treatment Services, formerly National Therapeutic Services, is an alcohol and drug rehab in Costa Mesa, California. The center offers residential detox, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), sober living, and aftercare programs for young adults, adults, gender-specific groups, and veterans.
At Northbound Treatment Services, clients have structured surroundings, including 24/7 supervision, to begin their recovery. During residential medical detox, licensed clinicians administer FDA-approved prescriptions, which may include methadone, buprenorphine, naloxone, and disulfiram, to ease withdrawal pains and reduce cravings. Clients also enroll in 12-step programs undergo counseling to discourage relapse and partake in holistic therapy, exercise, and group activities. Detox generally lasts between 5 and 7 days.
After detox, clients transition into inpatient and outpatient programs to reinforce their sobriety. Residential stays typically last 3 months. Programs can include dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) approaches, music therapy, faith-based programs, and life skills development. Clients may be eligible for sober living housing for additional support as they transition back to their communities. An alumni support program is available, and referrals may be available to outside facilities and programs.
