About New Directions Treatment Services
New Directions Treatment Services is a non-profit substance use disorder clinic located in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. They provide medication assisted treatment, ambulatory detox and dual-diagnosis treatment. They offer services in English or Spanish.
New Directions offers a number of FDA-approved medications during ambulatory detox treatment. Medical staff will determine the right medication for each client’s needs. Once a client has passed through detox, they can begin recovery treatment.
Their MAT program combines the use of medications with behavioral therapies for a comprehensive approach to recovery. Medications such as methadone, buprenorphine and naltrexone can reduce psychological cravings and block the euphoric feeling of opioids. During treatment, clients are required to attend individual and group counseling sessions and undergo drug-use screens.
New Directions Treatment Services accepts private pay, Medicaid, Medicare, military insurance and private insurance. Please contact your provider as out of network benefits may vary.
