About Newbridge Recovery
NewBridge’s multi-disciplinary team of doctors, counselors and therapists provide personalized integrated care through evidence-based Addiction Medicine, Structured Treatment Programs and Concurrent Therapies that help patients overcome the powerful and disruptive effects of alcohol & drug addiction.
NewBridge provides medical stabilization for adults with drug, alcohol and related health issues. They offer effective outpatient detox that can help stabilize patients from a wide variety of drugs. Outpatient detox can be an affordable and effective alternative to a costly inpatient hospital stay. If outpatient detox is not appropriate, NewBridge physicians can arrange for an inpatient hospital stay to stabilize the patient before continued treatment and recovery.
NewBridge’s outpatient detox program accepts appropriate adults, who are currently using or are experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms from drugs and alcohol. It consists of a physician supervised outpatient stabilization that typically lasts 7 days. The outpatient program includes the following aspects:
Pre-Screening
Initial Physician Assessment & Evaluation
Follow-up Physician Assessments
Medical Stabilization for alcohol and opiate withdrawal
Suboxone and Vivitrol prescribed, if appropriate
Vivitrol Injection Site
Use of non-addictive adjunct medications to manage withdrawal symptoms
Comprehensive laboratory analysis
Vitamin and Nutrient Injection
Urinalysis & Pregnancy Test
Daily follow-up by an addiction specialist Registered Nurse
Psychosocial Evaluation by Addiction Therapist
Personalized Post Withdrawal Treatment Planning
Upon admission for medical stabilization, an assessment of the patient’s condition and needs are accomplished. These assessments include a medical history, physical, a complete laboratory workup, nursing assessment and an initial physician evaluation. The patient will be monitored daily by a registered nurse.
