About Passages Malibu
Passages Malibu is a five-star luxury substance use treatment facility for adults. They offer a non-12 step, holistic treatments including cutting-edge residential detox, medication-assisted treatment, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
At Passages Malibu, clients have access to a superior detox process that includes around-the-clock supervision by an addictionologist MD and a team of nurses. Each client will be given an individualized treatment plan based on their medical history and needs. As clients progress through detox, they are regularly evaluated as their body purges addictive substances from the system. Medications such as buprenorphine and naltrexone (Vivitrol) may be administered to make detox as comfortable and safe as possible.
MAT is an evidence-based treatment modality that combines medications with behavioral therapy. At Passages Malibu, they offer an approach to healing that does not use the 12-step modality. Clients will address the underlying conditions that led to substance abuse without the need to believe in a higher power or have constant support from a sponsor. CLients will have private, individual therapy sessions with a licensed, doctoral-level psychologist. Family and marriage counseling may also be part of a client’s treatment plan.
Holistic treatments including acupuncture, acupressure, massage, hypnotherapy, and spiritual counseling are available. Clients will stay in luxurious and comfortable rooms many of which have ocean views. Meals can be taken in rooms if clients wish. Clients will receive daily housekeeping and meals prepared by a gourmet chef. Access to a gym, swimming pool, spa, yoga, tai chi, art, sound, equine and recreation therapy are part of the amenities at Passages Malibu.
Passages Malibu accepts private pay and private health insurance. Contact your insurance provider as out of network benefits can vary.
