About Pathway Society Inc Mariposa Lodge
Mariposa Lodge, part of the Pathway Society network, is an alcohol and drug rehab in San Jose, California. The center provides residential social detox, inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare for young adult and adult women. Specialized services are available for pregnant and postpartum women. Mariposa Lodge prioritizes services for underserved communities.
Mariposa Lodge offers a structured environment for up to 6 clients at a time to manage their withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. The center may provide traditional counseling along with as-needed primary care. Amenities include meals, exercise, and peer support programs.
After detox, clients may transition into inpatient or outpatient programs. Mariposa Lodge can accommodate up to 34 clients, and services include peer support, individual and group counseling, and outdoor recreational therapy. An alumni program is available. Mariposa Lodge may make referrals to outside treatment centers for specialized substance abuse programs.
Many services and programs are free. Additional services may accrue a fee. The center may be in network with insurance providers such as Aetna, Beacon, BlueCross/BlueShield, Cigna, Humana, Magellan Health, Optum, and Wellpoint. Dual Diagnosis

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.

Adult programs address the substance use and life challenges specific to adults. Therapists can deliver sessions in individual, group and family settings. Services often include job support and life skills training in a structured environment.

Young adult programs are designed for individuals who are transitioning into adulthood. Topics of discussion typically include identity, independence and peer relationships. Providers may also offer life skills training and career support.
