About Gavin Foundation / Gavin Quincy ATS/CSS
The Quincy ATS/CSS, part of the Gavin Foundation, provides inpatient medical detox services and stabilization to adults in Quincy, Massachusetts. The program is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and includes counseling and addiction education. When detox ends, clients are referred to appropriate alcohol and drug rehab programs based on their needs.
Medical detox at Quincy ATS/CSS averages three to five days. Clients are monitored and medical treatment is provided for physical withdrawal symptoms, which includes medication and other interventions. The detox program also includes addiction education, motivational counseling, and case management.
After detox, clients enter the clinical stabilization services (CSS) portion of the program, which lasts an average of 14 days. This timeframe bridges the gap between detox and starting an appropriate treatment program. Services include training in coping skills, continued symptom management, and treatment planning.
The Quincy ATS/CSS may accept a wide range of insurance plans, such as Humana, Ambetter, Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, and more. Because insurance plans vary, be sure to verify coverage information and out-of-network details with the insurer.
