About Pine Grove BH and Addiction Services
Inpatient detox services are available for patients entering one of Pine Grove’s residential alcohol and drug treatment programs such as the Men’s Next Step program, Women’s Center, or Legacy program.
Pine Grove’s Next Step program is an intensive alcohol and drug addiction treatment program designed to aid men regain their freedom from the disease of chemical dependency. The program offers gender specific treatment in a safe and secure environment where patients work together toward recovery.
Specially tailored tracks such as, A Few Good Men: Celebrating Men in Recovery, in tandem with the professional and caring staff members who make up the core of our program, help patients finds hope, healing, and recovery. Our expert staff makes Next Step the right step toward living a life free from drug and alcohol dependency.
Pine Grove’s Next Step program includes residential addiction treatment as well as a step down partial hospitalization program for patients based on the clinical decisions of the treatment team. The program offers detox services and treatment for dual diagnosis, trauma, and mood disorders. Lengths of stay are customized for each patient according to the recommendations of Next Step’s treatment team.
Pine Grove’s Women’s Center is a treatment program for women who struggle with chemical dependency. Our combined expertise in substance and process addictions positions the Women’s Center as one of the few treatment centers nationwide who actively treat women with a co-occurring eating disorder. Pine Grove’s Women’s Center includes residential level addiction treatment as well as a step down partial hospitalization program for patients based on the clinical decisions of the treatment team. The Women’s Center incorporates the best of science and tradition to help women find hope and recover from their addictions. At the Women’s Center, our experienced staff integrates several theoretical perspectives, including medical, psychiatric, evidence based therapies, and 12-step philosophy and practice to help our patients live a meaningful and healthy life.
Due to the complexity of treating women with chemical dependency, Pine Grove’s Women’s Center features a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a Clinical Director, a Psychiatrist who is dually board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, Nurses, Clinical Therapists, Counselors, a certified Dietician, and various recreational professionals.
The Women’s Center offers treatment in a peaceful and secluded environment. The program is housed in a beautifully renovated inn. The facility includes an outdoor pool, kitchen, and a warm, home-like environment for patients. Shared bedrooms for our patients are designed with Southern charm. The helpful staff also encourages patients to take advantage of a nearby exercise facility, affiliated with Pine Grove.

Levels of Care

Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.

Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.

PHP
Partial hospitalization programs provide comprehensive treatment in a structured setting during the day but allow you to return home at night. These programs offer a balance of inpatient and outpatient rehab and provide intensive support without full time residency.

Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.

Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.

Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.

Hospital Detox
Hospital detoxification allows you to withdraw from drugs or alcohol in a hospital setting. It’s ideal for people with severe withdrawal symptoms or complex medical needs. You’ll receive constant monitoring, emergency care if needed and FDA approved prescription medications.

MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.

Young Adult (18 - 25)
Young adult programs are designed for individuals who are transitioning into adulthood. Topics of discussion typically include identity, independence and peer relationships. Providers may also offer life skills training and career support.

Seniors (65+)
Senior programs address the unique needs of older adults like chronic pain, grief and isolation. Programs include peer support and medical oversight for age related health concerns. The goal is to improve quality of life and promote sober aging.

Women's programs offer a safe and supportive space to focus on gender specific issues such as trauma, family roles and mental health conditions. Therapists tailor the sessions to address women's needs and foster empowerment in a healing and nurturing environment.
