A Detox Center in Monmouth Junction
Programs here are personalized to meet client needs and preferences, including the detox process. While this phase typically lasts between three and 10 days, this will naturally vary depending on the individual.
Detox is treated on an inpatient basis at the facility’s specialized and state-of-the-art detox center. While here, clients are encouraged to engage with all the treatment services the center has to offer.
On arrival, clients go through a thorough evaluation and intake process with a team of clinical professionals. This assessment helps inform the care they’ll receive throughout their stay and determine which detox services will be the most relevant for them. Among these services, clients can access individual, group, and family therapy; case management; medication management; relapse prevention training; and nutritional awareness sessions.
The center favors a 12 Step approach, integrating this philosophy throughout its services. Clients also have access to 24/7 clinical and medical care. Aftercare planning is also provided to ensure clients are supported beyond their inpatient experience.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) in New Jersey
MAT is available throughout the detox process and as part of inpatient care. As with all of the center’s services, it’s also provided to individuals struggling with co-occurring mental or behavioral health issues.
Always provided alongside regular therapy sessions, MAT here uses FDA-approved meds like buprenorphine-based Suboxone and Subutex, as well as Clonidine for opioid withdrawal. Meanwhile, for individuals detoxing from alcohol or benzodiazepines, the medications librium, gabapentin and baclofen are more commonly used.
