About Recovery Works Healing Center
Recovery Works Healing Center is a youth and adult addiction and dual diagnosis (co-occurring disorders) treatment organization. This organization has three Ohio facilities. The facility on South Brown School Road in Vandalia, Ohio, offers an adult outpatient program for addiction and dual diagnosis clients. The program is only 15 minutes from bustling Dayton. If you’re wondering about payment, the center accepts private health insurance, self payment and Medicaid.
Dual Diagnosis Treatment in Vandalia, Ohio
In the intensive outpatient program (IOP), you’ll find the structure and support you need to address chemical dependency and mental health issues. After an assessment, the treatment team develops a customized plan to ensure you get the help you need as you begin your journey to sobriety.
While participating in the program, clients have access to mental health and psychiatry services. The team emphasizes the importance of treating mental health simultaneously with addiction treatment. In this regard, clients work on identifying underlying mental health issues that contribute to their substance use. If necessary, you can get medication management for depression or other mental health disorders from the psychiatric services team.
Accessible Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Near Dayton
One of the things I like about this program is the accessible MAT. If you’re dealing with addiction to alcohol, cocaine, or opioids, MAT is an evidence based treatment that helps get you through any uncomfortable withdrawal effects. The medications help reduce cravings and make your transition off of substances much more comfortable than trying to stop cold turkey on your own.
Transitional Support Through Sober Living Programs
It’s not uncommon for those with addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders to find themselves without support and a place to live. I appreciate that this outpatient treatment program can provide a sober living home for clients. Living in one of these homes can make all the difference in maintaining sobriety because you’re surrounded by others in similar situations.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
