About BrightView Louisville Addiction Treatment Center
The Brightview Louisville Addiction Treatment Center provides adults with outpatient addiction treatment in Louisville, Kentucky. The organization has been accredited by The Joint Commission and certified through LegitScript.
Insurance is accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. If you will be paying for your substance abuse treatment without assistance, they’ll be able to work out a payment plan for you.
To ensure your safety during withdrawals, medication assisted treatment (MAT) is provided. This service will be combined with counseling and therapy. Depending on your substance addiction, FDA approved medications such as Vivitrol, Suboxone or buprenorphine may be prescribed to you. If needed, they’re able to prescribe methadone. These medications help alleviate your withdrawal symptoms and reduce your cravings for opioids and/or alcohol.
With counseling as part of your treatment plan, you’ll be able to make progress towards your treatment goals. Their counselors are trained to help you process any challenging emotional experiences that are related to your addiction. They will also help you identify a plan for your healing and recovery. During your time with your counselor you’ll be able to address topics such as trauma, anxiety, grief, shame and anger.
Your time in group therapy will be a little different than in individual counseling. Group therapy allows you to share your thoughts and feelings about recovery among your peers. I like that it provides you with a supportive environment amongst others who are on a similar recovery journey. You are able to ask questions and receive encouragement from your peers.
What stood out to me is their social support services. This service is helpful in that the staff will help minimize any barriers so that you may focus on your treatment. I like that they will coordinate your overall care, take care of any insurance issues, and they’ll advocate for you and connect you with any additional resource needed.
