About Ripple Ranch Recovery Center
Drug and alcohol detox are available at the Ripple Ranch Recovery Center located in Spring Branch, Texas. Insurance is accepted, including TRICARE. The organization is LegitScript certified and they are members of the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers.
Your first step in recovery will be in their medically managed withdrawal detox program. In order to promote healing, you will be in a comfortable and quiet environment. You’ll be in a semi private room and have medical supervision from professionals round the clock.
I do like that their goal is to reduce possible psychological and physical harm that may be caused by stopping the substance abuse after a period of time. Medication assisted treatment (MAT) will be used to reduce and ease your withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Some examples of the medications they offer are Vivitrol and buprenorphine. I like that they will also provide you with electrolytes and vitamin supplements.
Music therapy plays a major part in their program. It’s available in their inpatient and outpatient programs, and can even be used for teens and kids with developmental disorders. You don’t have to be musically talented to take part, although you can play and sing along if you want. The main point is to reduce stress and anxieties, including blood pressure. That way, you’ll have a healthier alternative than depending on drugs.
MAT and music therapy are two parts of what they call The Ripple Effect. This is when treating substance abuse spreads to address other factors in your life, like your mental health and daily living routines. This is highly personalized, as reflected in their 6:1 client-to-staff ratio and their many different programs. They have outdoor yoga, a swimming pool, and outdoor activities that take place on 20 acres.
Once you have completed the medical detox, you will be able to continue to receive treatment in their residential setting. The total length of the program is averaged to 30-90 days.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient

This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
