About Rogers Behavioral Health Brown Deer Main Campus
Rogers Behavioral Health is a network of psychiatric and addiction treatment centers. This one is located in Brown Deer, Wisconsin, but they do have locations in several states, too. This facility is their inpatient and residential center in Brown Deer and the outpatient center is just across the street. They offer care here for adults as well as adolescents and kids.
The detox treatment they have here is thorough and attentive. They have inpatient medical detox where you’ll have medical staff monitoring your health. They’ll also offer medications and other medical interventions to help reduce your withdrawal symptoms and to keep you safe throughout the detox. You’ll have support available around the clock.
I think it’s important to note that this facility is equal parts addiction treatment and psychiatric care. This means if you’re one of the many people who have a dual diagnosis of substance use disorder with one or more mental health conditions, they can get you mental health care at the same time. The goal is to get you clean and stable enough to transition to the next stage of your recovery journey, whether that’s residential rehab or some level of outpatient treatment.
Speaking of the next stage of your recovery, this facility has every level of care for addiction treatment. Along with inpatient treatment, they have residential rehab as well as partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and traditional outpatient (OP) care. This way you can step down to each lower level of care as you grow more stable and healthy in your recovery.
It’s hard to tell what to expect at this facility, though, because the client feedback is such a mixed bag. Some clients say that they didn’t get the attentive care they needed or that staff didn’t do a good job with either coordinating care or maintaining safety among the clients. But others say that they have had positive experiences here and that the program started them on a healthy road to recovery.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.

Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
