About Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus
The Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus is located in the city of Rockford in Illinois. This is a full service residential facility that supports adults and adolescents who are struggling with substance use or have a co-occurring mental health disorder.
Once your body has been stabilized from a substance abuse disorder, you’ll step down into the residential program here and work through evidence based practices and holistic recovery approaches.
MAT Services and Medical Detox
Medication assisted treatment can be a part of your recovery plan here. If you’re at the start of your recovery journey, medically monitored detox is available as well and you’ll be supervised with around the clock care, ensuring a safe withdrawal process.
Serene Recovery Environment
Situated on 50 acres in Illinois’ northern rural community, you’ll find a sprawling campus that features a large pond, a peaceful healing garden, a conservatory, and walking paths outdoors that allow you to experience the serenity and beauty of nature here.
There are three main buildings on the campus and within them you’ll find an on site school, a gymnasium and fitness center, and a chapel. Reminiscent of a small community college or college campus, this is a state of the art facility that really allows you to focus on your recovery distraction free.
Wraparound Care
Everyone’s recovery plan will be individualized to their recovery needs here. You’ll find that within your recovery plan, there will be a combination of evidence based and holistic therapies.
For example, the 12 steps are deeply rooted in the recovery approach here. You’ll engage in regular meetings and you’ll find that faith based recovery is highly encouraged.
There are also integrated therapeutic approaches including health and wellness support, counseling sessions, and therapy that happens with your family and in a group setting as well.
With all these services, you’ll focus on building habits and behaviors that will allow you to go back to your life with skills that will help you avoid falling back into circumstances that could cause relapse.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Dual Diagnosis
Dual diagnosis programs address substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions simultaneously. This integrated approach to care improves the likelihood of long term recovery and stability by addressing the root causes of addiction.
-
Intervention
An intervention is a structured and professionally guided conversation with an individual who is struggling with addiction. During the conversation, family and friends will encourage you to seek treatment. This is often a pivotal step for those resistant to getting help.
-
Sober Living
Sober living homes provide a supportive and substance free environment for you to live in as you overcome your addiction. Residents must follow house rules and support each other's recovery journeys. Sober living fosters accountability and stability during this critical phase of recovery.
