About Rushford
Rushford, part of the Hartford Healthcare network, is an alcohol and drug rehab in Middletown, Connecticut. The center provides residential medical detox, medication-assisted treatment, inpatient (IP) and outpatient (OP) programs, and aftercare for young adults and adults. Specialized services are available for adolescents and gender-specific groups.
At Rushford, clients have 24/7 supervision and a structured environment to manage their withdrawal symptoms and reduce cravings. The center features 19 beds and provides a secluded, rural environment for yoga, meditation, and outdoor therapy. In addition to education workshops and counseling, FDA-approved prescriptions, such as Suboxone, are administered to help prevent relapse.
After detox, clients may be eligible for an extended inpatient stay or transition into an outpatient program, including Telehealth. Medication management, mindfulness, and coping mechanisms are used to reinforce sobriety. Teenagers may be eligible for the Rushford Academy Day School and other education and social service programs. Rushford may also make referrals for specialized substance abuse programs in outside treatment centers.
Rushford is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Rushford offers self-pay and financing options. The center accepts Medicare and Medicaid and is in network with Aetna, BlueCross, Cigna, ConnectiCare, Franklin Health Plan, First Health, Health Net, MultiPlan, Oxford, and United Healthcare. Please check your insurance provider for coverage and out-of-network benefits.
