Intensive outpatient (IOP) is also an option and is available both on-site or online for those unable to make regular in-person appointments. Featuring eight to 12 weeks of treatment and taking place across three to four days of weekly programming, young adult IOP can address substance abuse and dual-diagnosis conditions. The focus here is on developing better social, academic and vocational habits while continuing with a regular work or study routine.
