SouthLight Healthcare is a nonprofit behavioral health organization based in Raleigh, NC. Since 1970, we have worked with individuals and families who are navigating the struggle of addiction and other behavioral health disorders. We provide holistic solutions for our clients – offering seamless behavioral health and primary care that produces successful outcomes.
​SouthLight is licensed by North Carolina Health and Human Services’ Division of Health Service Regulation (DHSR) and operates as a contract agency of Wake County Human Services. We are a Member Agency of Excellence of the United Way of the Greater Triangle and a longtime affiliate of the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits. We also are involved in a variety of addiction associations and related organizations.
​SouthLight is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and comparable state laws, and we are funded through local, state and federal grants and through third-party payments and contributions.
