About Spectrum Health Systems
The 154 Oak Street location is one of many Spectrum Health Systems facilities. Based in Westborough, Massachusetts atop a hill on Spectrum’s 25-acre parkland site, this is the company’s flagship recovery center. Addiction treatment services are available to adults aged 18 and older. Care is offered here regardless of your background.
Many clients will begin with detox. This is such a crucial point in the recovery journey, which is why Spectrum’s detox program is so comprehensive. They provide 24-hour medical supervision, and access to medications that will help clients manage nasty withdrawal symptoms and cravings. Compassionate nursing staff are on hand to make clients feel as comfortable as possible, and to help prepare them for the next stage in their recovery journey.
This facility offers residential programs for both men and women, consisting of a structured weekly schedule. A typical inpatient routine may involve a mixture of individual, group, and family counseling, peer support and recovery groups, relapse prevention training, and recreational activities across a weekly schedule. This way, residents can benefit from a holistic treatment offering. Length of stay on the inpatient program will vary depending on clients’ individual needs.
Once completed, all clients will receive a thorough aftercare plan to ensure they are properly supported as they transition back to independent or semi-independent living.
This facility also offers clinical stabilization services for men and women. The main focus of these services is to help clients transition from inpatient care, detox and more intensive stages of treatment to aftercare and beyond. As part of this, clients can expect comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, health and addiction education sessions, as well as supportive planning and follow-up for continuing care post-recovery.
