About The Salvation Army Anaheim Adult Rehabilitation Center
Located in Anaheim, California, The Salvation Army Anaheim Adult Rehabilitation Center provides professional addiction treatment to adults aged 21 to 65 regardless of gender, race or background. The center offers an intensive inpatient addiction treatment program though residential care is also available, and lasts up to 180 days.
Inpatient treatment is recommended for individuals who have already gone through detox and need further support. Addiction education is provided along with counseling and prep sessions to help clients make the move to independent or semi-independent living. As long as individuals show a willingness to change their behaviors and get their lives back on track then they will be welcomed here.
Their intensive outpatient program is an ideal option for long term care that offers flexibility depending on the unique needs of its participants. In this program, clients can access group services like peer support groups and group counseling sessions as well as individual counseling and educational opportunities.
Clients can also access employment support through the center’s work therapy and transitional job programs. Through these, they can receive help with work placements and support writing their resumes. Workshops are also held to help clients navigate conflict resolution, appropriate job behaviors, interviews and other transferable workplace skills.
In terms of what former clients have to say, feedback is mixed but skews positive. Some describe the program as strict and tough but worthwhile with lots of regulations to be aware of while you’re on the program.
