Turning Point of Central California — Kennemer Center is a mental health and substance abuse treatment center in Bakersfield, California. The Kennemer works with the state’s Department of Corrections to help men in the legal system reintegrate into society through the Male Community Reentry Program (MCRP). Services include inpatient residential treatment, individual therapy, educational groups, job development, vocational training, social service activities, community activities, and continuing care. Clients in this program serve the remainder of their sentence in the community.
