Comprehensive Addiction Treatment in the Capital of Wisconsin
The team here understands that addiction recovery isn’t a one-size-fits-all type of deal, and uses OWI screenings and assessments to get to grips with what kind of treatment is best for you and your unique situation. Perhaps you’re relapsing or having a hard time admitting to yourself that you have a problem. Wherever you’re at, the team will meet you there and offer you a therapeutic and judgement-free space for you to explore your feelings and behaviors.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) for Substance Abuse in Southern Wisconsin
IOP here is primarily a group program, which provides participants with extensive therapy and education to help them address their addiction and mental health issues respectively.
Therapeutic methods used include cognitive (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) by incorporating the disease model of addiction. Mindfulness methods and techniques are also woven into the treatment process.
Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is also available should you need it. Medications used include naltrexone and buprenorphine, under the brand names Suboxone and Sublocade. MAT is always coupled with therapy, including individual sessions with master’s level licensed therapists. Each professional has their own framework and specialized substance abuse-focused approach.
Aftercare services are also available, and you’ll have access to MAT, therapy, and peer support even once you’ve completed the main program.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
Detox Service Setting
-
Hospital Detox
Hospital detoxification allows you to withdraw from drugs or alcohol in a hospital setting. It’s ideal for people with severe withdrawal symptoms or complex medical needs. You’ll receive constant monitoring, emergency care if needed and FDA approved prescription medications.
-
Inpatient Detox
Inpatient detox occurs in a dedicated treatment facility. You’ll live there around the clock and receive intensive medical support and supervision to help manage your withdrawal symptoms. It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
-
Outpatient Detox
Outpatient detox gives you access to medically supervised withdrawal services while still allowing you to live at home. You’ll attend a clinic for treatment and monitoring. This flexible option is suitable for those with mild to moderate withdrawal symptoms who have strong support systems.
-
MAT
Medication assisted treatment combines medication and counseling to manage withdrawal and reduce cravings for opioid and alcohol addiction. Medications may include methadone, buprenorphine or naltrexone. MAT is tailored to your needs so you can actively participate in your treatment journey.
