About Fair Oaks Recovery Center

Addiction is a disease that requires a whole person treatment approach. At Valley Recovery Center, we believe in treating the mind, body, and spirit to allow clients to begin a fresh chapter in their lives. If you’re ready to make a positive change, we’re here to help.

Valley Recovery is a place free of judgement. We don’t criticize or dwell on your past mistakes, since you’ve already taken an important step forward by addressing your need for substance abuse treatment. Our program is designed to introduce new habits and wellness techniques you can use to conquer cravings, identify addiction triggers, prevent relapse, and manage co-occurring conditions such as anxiety and depression.

To be successful, addiction treatment must be customized to fit each client’s unique challenges. There is no “one size fits all” approach that will guarantee sobriety, since each client is at a different point in their recovery journey. Individually tailored treatment plans achieve maximum positive outcomes.

Every Valley Recovery client first meets with a therapist to develop a personalized and mutually agreed upon treatment program that incorporates detoxification, CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and other evidence-based techniques proven to assist in the recovery process. This safe, therapeutic healing environment provides incentives for abstinence and the tools necessary to build family and interpersonal relationships that set the foundation for long-term success.

Our addiction treatment philosophy involves all of the following aspects:

We believe the development of the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist is an important factor in a positive outcome. From this foundation, the mutually agreed-upon treatment plan is developed.

We believe addiction is a complex but treatable disease that affects brain function and behavior. No single addiction treatment is appropriate for everyone and at VRCC we seek collaboration on the client’s ideas and preferences to help guide their course of change.

We believe cognitive behavioral therapies, medication management and detoxification are the most productive forms of alcohol and drug addiction treatment. The use of individual, family and group therapies assist clients to change and provide incentives for abstinence, building skills to resist drug use, improve problem-solving skills and facilitate better family and interpersonal relationships.

Our core curriculum addresses Whole Person Care, Relapse Prevention, Co-occurring Disorders (dual diagnosis), Addiction-free Pain Management, Denial and Disease management, Mindfulness practices and Positive Psychology techniques in a safe, therapeutic environment.

We feel privileged to honor the client’s process of change, and use the client’s feedback to tailor our services to each individual.

It is suitable for individuals with moderate to severe addictions as it ensures a stable detox environment.
