About Willis W Hudson Center
Formerly known as Hudson Health Services or Willis W. Hudson Center, Hudson Behavioral Health is an alcohol and drug rehab center for adolescents and adults in Salisbury, Maryland. They offer medical detox, residential treatment and aftercare services, including dedicated support for clients with co-occurring conditions.
Clients in detox undergo a medical evaluation upon admission to determine if medication-assisted treatment is necessary to support the initial withdrawal process. Those participating in MAT can receive FDA-approved addiction medications to alleviate their physical symptoms and reduce their cravings.
Medical detox services are provided in a residential environment, allowing clients to focus on their recovery before moving into other recovery areas. They offer low-, medium- and high-intensity residential programs, located on a peaceful and secluded campus. Providers can make referrals to outpatient programs once residential treatment is complete.
While in residential treatment, clients participate in an array of physical, psycho-social and psychiatric services depending on their needs and treatment plan. These may include individual, group and family counseling; career counseling; change-management courses; life-skills training; and related services. Alternative therapies including therapeutic drumming and yoga are also available.
Providers can help clients prepare for the initial stages of recovery by connecting them with community resources that encourage healthy habits and long-term sobriety. These include designated recovery houses, 12 Step meetings, peer support groups and similar programs.
Hudson Behavioral Health works with most major insurance providers, including Aetna, Beacon Health, CareFirst, HealthSmart, United Healthcare and others. Verify coverage with your individual provider because out of network benefits could vary.
Hudson Behavioral Health is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
-
Aftercare
Aftercare programs provide ongoing support after you complete a rehab program. They may include several components to help you maintain sobriety including therapy, community support groups and relapse prevention strategies. This gives you a network of resources as you reintegrate into your daily life.
-
Sober Living
Sober living homes provide a supportive and substance free environment for you to live in as you overcome your addiction. Residents must follow house rules and support each other's recovery journeys. Sober living fosters accountability and stability during this critical phase of recovery.
