Winston-Salem Comprehensive Treatment Center is an outpatient clinic for folks who have an opioid use disorder. The clinic is located in suburban Salem, North Carolina, three miles southwest of downtown. They’re a quick drive from Winston-Salem University.
Winston-Salem CTC accepts adults of all genders. They provide medication assisted treatment (MAT). They accept commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid and Veterans Affairs and self-pay.
MAT in Salem
At Winston-Salem CTC, treatment is as straightforward as possible. You’ll get started with an intake appointment that includes some routine testing and basic questions. This will assist staff to create a treatment plan that’ll work for you. They’ll also be happy to answer any questions you have.
This facility offers methadone, Suboxone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone as options for MAT. All these help reduce cravings and discomfort from opioid withdrawal, but they work a little differently. I like that they have multiple options so that you can get the one that best meets your needs.
