About Zepf Center Corporate
Since 1974, Zepf Center’s corporate office has been a mental health and substance use disorder treatment facility for adults and youth in metropolitan Toledo, Ohio. They provide addiction medication for a select group of local community members experiencing opioid addictions. You’ll be treated in an office based setting in a commercial area close to the Wildwood Preserve Metropark and right off the 120 freeway.
The project is offered at their offices in Toledo’s Junction neighborhood for which they received the MATTER Grant. This part of town has few resources for those seeking recovery. They have historically aimed to help underserved community members in the inner city, and they continue to do so today.
The medications you get help you through the withdrawal period by taking away dangerous and uncomfortable symptoms. Medications like Suboxone make it possible for you to do an ambulatory detox. This means that you don’t have to stay at a facility for as long as it takes for your body to be free from the substances. You can keep up with your commitments and look after your loved ones.
For long term recovery, medications remove physical cravings. This leaves you free to work on building healthy coping skills and resilience against relapse. Your treatment team will come up with a treatment plan, especially for you.
Treating opioid addiction with medication is highly effective, especially when combined with counseling and therapy. The beauty of this treatment is that it’s safe for pregnant or nursing women. Expecting mothers are often given priority treatment as their recovery benefits their unborn child.
As the center is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, they also provide medication management and case management services.
