Zepf Center’s Woodruff’s site in Toledo, Ohio, provides personalized care for youths with psychiatric issues. They’re one of six Zepf Center clinics that have delivered trauma-focused care to youths and adults for over 50 years. Services include a full spectrum of substance use treatment from medically supervised withdrawal to high-intensity residential care. They also offer 24/7 crisis support.
Zepf Center Woodruff is in the Old West End neighborhood, just northwest of downtown Toledo and about two miles east of Ottawa Park. They also serve youths from nearby Oregon, Perrysburg and Sylvania.
Specialized Support For Youth
Zepf Center Woodruff primarily serves youths with primary mental and psychiatric conditions. They offer diagnostic psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapy. Treatment is family-oriented to improve daily function at home, school, and social settings. Clients can access medical care and exercise, sports, and art onsite or in their community.
Youth services encompass crisis care including psychiatric urgent care and mobile response and stabilization services (MRSS). MRSS provides immediate relief for youths up to 21 years. Services are provided within 60 minutes of contact and may include safety assessment, peer support, and skills building. Youths experiencing acute symptoms or overdose may be referred to network clinics for detoxification.
Medically Supported Detox
Zept Center offers medically monitored detoxification for adults and adolescents experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms or overdose. Clients are placed in therapeutic settings where they detox under the care and supervision of trained physicians.
The facility also provides medication assisted treatment. This pairs FDA-approved meds and counseling to achieve lasting healing. Residential social detox is accessible as well. This 24/7 program involves daily therapy, medical and withdrawal support alongside health education. Clients can continue recovery via residential care that fosters resilience and recovery skills building for 30 days.

In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
