Medical Detox in Mesilla Valley
Medical detox is offered at their Residential Withdrawal Management home. The typical stay is three to 10 days. This is when you’ll meet your primary therapist, your case manager, and a psychiatric provider. Daily assessments and medication management will be performed. There’s also an onsite chef to assist you with your nutritional needs. The rustic decor with stone facades emphasize a natural look and can help you relax.
Residential and Outpatient Programs
After detox you’ll move into their residential program. This consists of individual and group therapy, 12 Step meetings, and weekly outings. Staff is available 24/7, and meals are prepared fresh daily. Next is their intensive outpatient program (IOP), with clients living in an apartment style arrangement. Peers in recovery reside and prepare meals together. Community living is the focus with this level of care.
Once clients have achieved most of their treatment goals and are living on their own, outpatient care is also available. Groups meet three nights a week for two hours a night. Services are also offered to those who’ve recently been discharged from another program or are referred by other providers. Individual therapy is included.
Levels of Care
-
Inpatient
Inpatient and residential programs provide round-the-clock medical and emotional support as you live at the treatment facility. This level of care may be recommended if you have severe addictions or mental health conditions since it removes outside distractions and allows you to focus solely on therapy.
-
Outpatient
In outpatient therapy, you’ll attend therapy sessions several times each week while living at home. This is ideal if you have a strong support system and a lower risk of relapse. Outpatient treatment offers flexibility to maintain work, school or family obligations.
